Thank you very much for all your contributions that have helped APCD come this far. Recently, we have seen several epoch-making phenomena in the disability field such as national legislation amendments in pursuance to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and a High-level Intergovernmental Meeting to Review the BMF plus 5 for adoption.
With these powerful instruments, the APCD Project Phase II believes that the quality of life and the rights of persons with disabilities globally will be greatly improved. APCD's overall goal is to support the promotion of an inclusive, barrier-free and rightsbased society and empowerment of persons with disabilities in the Asia-Pacific region.
Oops!!! Don't forget the International Day of Disabled Persons on 3 December 2007 with the theme of "Decent Work for Persons with Disabilities". Cheers!!!
