Thai NGO Forum
APCD organized a seminar on Development of a Disability Network: the Status and Implementation of APCD from 4 - 6 September 2005 at Tawarawadi Hotel, Prachinburi, Thailand. Forty-two participants of disabled leaders from various organizations, government representatives and APCD staff met to review the work, objectives and implementation of APCD 
including an orientation and discussions to different types of public organizations suitable for the future of APCD. After discussion, it was suggested:
- From 2005 - 2007, APCD should continue to promote its activities through the media and prepare to have more disabled people to take part in all its activities in the future. APCD should study and survey the needs of persons with disabilities and have its training courses match the needs.
- After 2007, APCD should become a public organization for persons with disabilities in the Asia- Pacific region with greater involvement of disability-related member organizations in the region and the international community.
